What services do we provide?
Forensic Interview:
- An interview of abused children in an age appropriate room, emphasizing the child's comfort and minimizing the number of interviews.
Multi-Disciplinary Protection Team:
- A combination of professionals engaged in investigation, prosecution, and the medical and therapeutic treatment of child abuse. This team works together to protect the child and promote both the child and family's healing.
Medical Services:
- A certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) assesses any physical damage from abuse coordinated through the center.
Therapy:
- Provides a thorough evaluation of the psychological problems caused by the abuse and any needed treatment by experienced therapists.
Family & Child Advocacy:
- Helps families obtain funding and coordinate community services to help protect and heal their child.
Prevention, Education & Training:
- Recognize-Resist-Report and Bullying Education programs for students Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade are offered to the surrounding schools and organizations. Programs offered are Happy Bear, Break the Silence and Sticks and Stones. More information...
- Education on Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse is offered in a 1.5 hour seminar. More information...
